Hello World! / Shorebirds- It’s Gonna Get Ugly

Citizens of the Blogosphere, allow me to introduce myself. I’m Max, friend, lover, and father of the other boys that update this here blog, not to mention the only person on earth that Cameron will yell at. I guess I’ll be a regular addition to Black with Sap and I couldn’t be more happy/ honored.
If you know me you know that I absolutely love anything remotely related to Latterman, I think that anything Matt Canino touches is generally gold. So, for my very first post I bring you a record from Olympia, WA’s now defunct Shorebirds. With ex-members of also defunct bands, Latterman and the legendary Jawbreaker, you can sort of guess how this will sound. Take the uber catchy punk sound of Latterman, speed it up, drop the complexity and viola! you’ve got Shorebirds. Any fan of either of their parent bands will be sure to enjoy this. You can download and/or buy this record on Matt’s Rumbletowne Records. This was one of my favorite records of 2008 and I still can’t get enough of it.
