Slowgrowth Records released the tracks for this 4-way split today. They were even nice enough to put it up for free download. It probably goes without saying, but every song on here is awesome, even if it is only one per band. If you weren’t aware, 1994!, Algernon, and Snowing are all touring together this summer. Yeah, for real. I suggest going to one of their shows and picking one up, but if they’re not coming anywhere near you, order it from Slowgrowth for only $5. If you’re feeling nice, you can also donate $1 to Slowgrowth and download the record on their bandcamp. Get on it!

Both of our upcoming cassettes (1994! – Thank You Arms and Fingers, and I Create – All We Are Is Now) are now available for preorder. As of right now, it appears that 1994! tapes will probably go out mid-April, and I Create tapes will ship late April to early May. The first few people to preorder either of the 2 tapes will receive something else for free. It could be something from the distro, another tape, a shirt, we haven’t decided yet. We will surprise you. To preorder either tape, go to our Releases page.

Get hyphy.

So, after months of latency, we’re replicating inside the chromosomes of our viral host cells known as Spokane and Missoula. By using this biology metaphor, I’m trying to say that we’ve got plans for some new releases.

First up…

I Create – All We Are is Now (cassette format)

  • After a short hiatus, these boys from Georgia are back together and playing shows. We’ll be releasing this full length on cassette within the next month or so. We’re working on the artwork as I type this. I’ll post it when it’s finished. Expect post-rock influenced screamo in the vein of some of those euro screamo bands. Also, we’ve got copies of their Make the Years EP and will have some shirts of theirs shortly for sale. Here’s what they’ll look like:

1994! – Thank You Arms & Fingers (cassette format)

  • Originally released by Inkblot Records on 12″ format in October of 2008, Thank You Arms & Fingers will be released by bws in February on cassette. We’re super excited to be working with these dudes on this one. Mike is currently working on getting some new artwork done for this limited cassette run. I believe there will be 100 copies available to the masses. Regardless, with intricate guitars, solid drumming, and shouted vocals, you can’t go wrong with these guys. The best two piece band out there, in my opinion. Check out this review:

Other bands that we will be working with:

  • Lautrec – Discography Cassette
  • Boyfriends – Cassingle?
  • Merchant Ships?

Awesome. Stay tuned for more info in the next few days.
